Paul Scherer is an accomplished composer and pianist who has written for and performed with many artists throughout his long career. He has a Bachelors in Music from the University of Delaware and is pursuing his Masters in Music Technology from Indiana University.

Composer

Paul has been an active composer and composition teacher for more than 25 years. He has written extensively for vocalists and instrumental groups, and is the composer of all of the material on his three CDs. He has developed his style to blend Latin, Jazz, Classical and Pop into an accessible yet intricate weave punctuated by a focus on melody and lush harmony.

Performer

Paul regularly performs as a solo artist as a member of The Joel Moore Quartet, and The Agnieszka Iwanska Band.

Educator

Paul maintains an active teaching studio where students learn classical and jazz piano as well as composition and music theory
